Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute care setting. The facility serves as a trauma level 3 hospital, providing therapy services across a variety of medical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, oncology, post-operative back and neck care, as well as basic medical-surgical and ICU services. The therapist will work closely with a dedicated team that includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and case managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Texas PT license (pending applications accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient care setting required.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
