Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Schedule

Variable shift: 3x12 hours, with a rotation between days and nights.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with 4-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care in obstetrics, managing ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum patients, as well as care for newborns and gynecological patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns.
• Manage labor and delivery processes in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in emergency situations and participate in advanced cardiac life support procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 4-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Experience with Epic/Stork electronic health record system.
• Ability to float to maternal/child or adult floors if needed.
• Strong commitment to providing exemplary patient care.
