Schedule / Shift

Will work 3x12hr rotating shifts, either 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, depending on unit needs with holiday rotation.

Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) with 2-3 years of experience to provide exceptional patient care in our medical-surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for attending to both medical and surgical patients, handling direct and new admissions from the emergency department, and providing support throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of medical and surgical patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Assist in procedures and manage post-operative care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of Medical-Surgical experience required.
• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
