Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs patient/family teaching while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response.
• Guide and direct activities of other nursing personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
