Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in acute care settings, specifically in behavioral health. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in milieu management, medication management, assessments, and documentation. The role will primarily focus on delivering high-quality patient care within an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 18 months of recent experience in behavioral health in an acute care setting (non-psychiatric).
• Must have 18 months of permanent experience in a short-term acute care hospital (non-psychiatric) prior to travel.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Must have a permanent Ohio or Compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Two recent professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required.
