Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend required, with floating as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Med Surg RN to join our team. The position requires the ability to float to ICU for Med Surg overflow or step down patients as necessary. No call is required for this role. The patient ratio is typically 1:6, with occasional increases to 1:7.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in the management and coordination of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Must be registered with the state of New Mexico and able to complete fingerprinting.
