CT Technologist - Per Diem

Schedule

This position offers various shifts, including 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, and 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM, with rotating schedules available.

Job Description

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. They support the Radiologist by assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and are accountable for the processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CT images in collaboration with the Radiologist.
• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Must have a current and valid CT license.
• CT ARRT Certification is required effective 07/01/2015.
• BCLS Certification (AHA) must be maintained upon hire.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is necessary.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
