Job Description

The Labor & Delivery RN is responsible for monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, managing labor progression, assisting with deliveries, and responding to obstetric emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills to support patients and families during critical moments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor process.
• Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries.
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope.
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips and prepare patients for operative deliveries.
• Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Montana.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery.
• NRP and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
