Job Description

Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN performs patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the shift the RN is assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as outlined by hospital protocols.
• Supervise and collaborate with other nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all patient care is delivered with compassion and a focus on the whole person.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices and hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Maine RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
