Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Assignment

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The position requires active participation in patient care and collaboration with the Interdisciplinary team to promote the well-being of patients and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop individualized care plans and identify patient education needs.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and initiate discharge planning from the day of admission.
• Ensure consistent communication regarding patient status among care providers.
• Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift (specific to designated facilities).
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Schedule

This position requires a Day shift working 3x12 hour schedules.
