Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a community hospital environment, providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various departments. You will be responsible for critical patient assessments, operating advanced respiratory equipment, and ensuring the highest level of care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Perform intubations, ABG draws, and interpretation.
• Adjust ventilator settings and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Collaborate closely with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience in acute care settings and familiarity with ICU ventilators.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
• Preferred: Some experience with resuscitation of infants.
