Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Unit

Night shifts, 12-hour schedule, 4 days on, 4 days off.

Job Description

The Med/Tele Unit is staffed with a patient-centered approach, catering to a 32-bed unit with an adult and older adult population. The nurse's role encompasses caring for trauma patients, administering Heparin drips, and managing acute medications as ordered by the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients on the Med/Tele unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
• Monitor and manage intravenous medications including Heparin drips.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts and geriatric chairs.
• Assist with physical therapy equipment as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have documented experience in medical telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• No RTO (Requests Time Off) will be accepted.
• Prior NICHE training or experience in skilled nursing/rehab is preferred.
