Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour Night shifts, with first to float responsibilities. Every other weekend required, with the possibility of two extra shifts within a six-week period.

Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team, providing care to both Medical/Surgical Unit (MSU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) status patients. The PCU is staffed at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, while the MSU operates at a 1:5 ratio. You will also float to Telemetry and Med/Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in both MSU and PCU settings.
• Adapt and float to various units as required by staffing needs.
• Monitor patient status, providing timely interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• NIHSS certification.
