Ultrasound Technologist - Women's Wellness Breast Care

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform ultrasound imaging services in a Women's Wellness Breast Care setting. The role requires proficiency in various imaging techniques, particularly in vascular and obstetric sonography, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff to provide excellent care.
• Assist in the training of new staff and participate in departmental training programs.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography is required.
• A minimum of one year of radiologic/imaging experience is essential.
• Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography are mandatory.
• Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligibility is required.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Must maintain all registries and licenses as mandated by state and federal law.
