Post-Surgical Nurse - Colorectal and Urologic Surgery

Job Description

This is a post-surgical position caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. You will collaborate closely with the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses to address ostomy and wound care needs for post-operative patients, including those on TPN, with NG tubes, and central lines.

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Please note that the role does not include block scheduling or the option for 48-hour requests.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score or 2 years of experience without testing required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Competency testing is required within 24 hours of submission.
