Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with home health experience to join our team. The PTA will be responsible for providing skilled physical therapy services in a home care setting, supporting patients with various health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and document patient progress regularly.
• Utilize equipment and devices such as crutches, gait belts, and rolling walkers.
• Implement and oversee home exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and families on medications, signs, and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
• Assist in lifting and transferring patients with appropriate techniques and tools.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Valid Florida PTA license or a compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• OASIS training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
