Job Description

The Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer is responsible for performing a variety of non-invasive imaging procedures. This role requires expertise in cardiac and vascular imaging, including but not limited to echocardiograms and duplex studies. The position involves patient interaction, timely scheduling, and thorough documentation of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive imaging procedures in Cardiac Graphics and Vascular Laboratories.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely completion of procedures.
• Obtain and provide information to patients regarding specific tests and procedures.
• Notify medical staff of any atypical imaging results promptly.
• Document completed procedures in patient charts accurately.
• Maintain equipment and procedure areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (AHA) Certification
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Certification
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) Certification
