Schedule

Night shift: 3 × 12 hr shifts, from 19:00 to 07:30, totaling 36 hours per week. Operating hours are Monday 7am to Saturday 7pm, with no shifts on Sundays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to ICU boarders located in the PACU unit. The expected patient population will primarily include trauma overflow, although prior trauma training is not required.

The RN may need to float to the Emergency Department for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on the need and census. The RN is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare team to individualize patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with nursing standards and departmental policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
