Nights 12-Hour Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Telemetry

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care primarily for cardiac and telemetry patients, demonstrating strong proficiency in interpreting, measuring, and documenting cardiac rhythms. The role requires adherence to departmental expectations and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including interpreting cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Strong proficiency in cardiac/telemetry and med-tele units.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
