Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a Level 4 NICU setting. The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team and support the respiratory needs of neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage respiratory therapy treatments for pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment in a pediatric critical care environment.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric and Neonate respiratory care.
• RRT certification is required.
• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be active at the time of start.
