NOC Shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 × 12 hr shifts per week.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will primarily work in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), with responsibilities extending to step-down units, intermediate care units (IMCU), and emergency departments for ICU holds. The RN may float to Women’s and Family services as needed, with a focus solely on ICU assignments at this facility. An orientation will be provided for nurses assigned to Women’s and Family of specialty which includes specific obstetric cases.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care based on patient needs under physician direction.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to customize patient care using the nursing process.
• Guide nursing support staff in delivering patient care according to established standards and policies.
• Remain up-to-date with nursing principles, theories, and techniques essential for effective practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• 1 year of experience in an ICU or critical care environment (Preferred).
• Valid Pennsylvania RN License (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (Required).
