Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This role requires a day shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing various cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment. You will work with advanced medical technology and provide essential support during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Accurately monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Set up equipment and prepare the access site for procedures.
• Assist the medical team by maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and other emergencies.
• Utilize various equipment, including fluoroscopy and vascular closure systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures is required.
• Experience with specialized procedures like IABP placement and PCI is preferred.
• Must possess a current WA license or compact license.
• Ability to respond to on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends.
