8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a 40-hour guarantee. Call requirement includes weekends and holidays.

Job Description

This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images, assists in preparing patients for procedures, and aids other members of the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure the timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists in prepping patients, sterile tray set up, post-cath care and procedures, and room clean up.
• Manipulates equipment and sets appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality.
• Operates a variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, pacemakers, etc., and performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Interventional Radiology Experience - Required
• Neuro Experience - Required
• Current Skills Checklist, pertinent to the specialty (Cath Lab) - Required
• Two Supervisory Reference Forms completed within the last two years - Required
• Active Michigan License (LARA and/or Nursys) - Required
• Active American Heart Association BLS - Required
• Active ARRT Certification - Required
