Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN will utilize their knowledge of principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice to provide individualized patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to established standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care plans tailored to individual patients.
• Collaborate with patients and significant others to enhance patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in delivering quality patient care.
• Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred)
• PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
• Multi State Compact RN License (Required)
• Basic Life Support Certification (Required)
