Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in both the Cath Lab and IR Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, including the ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients pre and post-procedure.
• Administer medications and manage sedation during treatments.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to infection prevention protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Cath Lab required; IR-only experience not accepted.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must possess a valid New York state nursing license in hand upon submission.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a mandatory requirement.
