CVPICU RN Travel Nurse Position

3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The CVPICU RN will provide specialized care to pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care within a 29-bed pediatric cardiology intensive care unit. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and responding effectively to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with complex pediatric cardiac conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and manage various pediatric cardiac interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience.
• Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) preferred.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN License.
• Required Certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association).
• Preferred Certification: ACLS (American Heart Association).
