10-hour Day shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, plus call, holidays, and weekends. No block scheduling.

Job Description

The position requires a Trauma Surgery Nurse with a focus on Level 1 trauma care. Candidates must be adept at working under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for trauma patients in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes effectively.
• Participate in trauma-related procedures and patient education.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of strong overall experience in a Level 1 trauma environment is required. Candidates must clearly demonstrate this in their work history and possess a strong rating on the skills checklist.
