Operating Room Nurse - Travel Position

Day shift from 06:30 to 15:00, working five days a week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be able to provide comprehensive care to patients in the operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to laryngectomy, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, and more.
• Participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Valid NM or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
