Night shift: 19:00 - 07:30 with weekend coverage required every other week.

Job Description

This position requires a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with critical care experience. The role involves working with various pediatric patient age groups across multiple units including pediatric floors, PICU, ER, and NICU. The therapist will utilize medication systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell and document patient care using the EPIC system.

Responsibilities

• Float between units as needed according to census demands.
• Administer respiratory therapies and treatment protocols for pediatric patients.
• Document patient care and treatments using EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience required in Pediatric Critical Care or ER settings.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, and SC RRT required.
• Experience with medication systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and electronic documentation (EPIC) is essential.
