Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and may periodically float to the Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics as needed. This position involves caring for critically ill patients and supporting their families while adhering to doctors' orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and hospital procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a 5-bed ICU setting.
• Support and manage the recovery of postoperative patients, including general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed.
• Work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of prior ICU experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice nursing in any state of the United States.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications must be completed within six (6) months of hire.
