Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist performs and assists with various types of ultrasound procedures, adhering to protocols established by radiologists. This role includes preparing and maintaining equipment, ensuring proper patient preparation, and operating ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Ensure patients are adequately prepared for procedures.
• Operate ultrasound machinery effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non-Degree Program graduate of a 2-year AMA approved Ultrasound program Required
• 2 years experience in Ultrasound Preferred
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Required
• Basic Life Support Preferred

Schedule

This is a full-time morning shift position, requiring 8-hour workdays.
