Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, shift from 08:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

Join our collaborative team at a community-focused hospital that emphasizes personal care in rehabilitation services. The Physical Therapist will work in acute care and rehabilitation, providing essential therapy services for patients. This role involves conducting evaluations, establishing treatment plans, and actively participating in care conferences while collaborating with the rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care.
• Assist with rounds and care conferences as needed.
• Communicate frequently with the rehabilitation team regarding patient progress and discharge needs.
• Utilize various treatment environments, including patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and the rehab gym.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must hold an active North Carolina Physical Therapy license.
