Physical Therapist - 32 Hours a Week, Day Shift

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in line with patient needs and physician directions. You will manage discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to patient discharge.
• Manage individual and group therapy sessions effectively based on patient care needs.
• Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student training and provide a positive learning environment.
• Actively pursue professional development and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in patient and professional advocacy efforts.
• Understand and apply performance improvement methodologies within the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
• Must hold a valid, current state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with inpatient rehab or neuro experience preferred.
