3x12 Weekend night shift: 5:00pm - 5:30am, Friday - Saturday - Sunday. No call is required.

Job Description

The incumbent produces diagnostic CT scans, assists the radiologist in CT scan procedures, and ensures patient care while upholding the vision and mission of the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and assist in patient throughput for ER, in-patients, and outpatients.
• Perform CT procedures based on departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation across all age groups.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
• Maintain current CPR certification and complete mandatory in-services as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the respective department.
• Experience in trauma is required.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) upon hire.
• AART(CT) Registry must be acquired within 12 months upon hire.
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• AHA BLS certification within 60 days upon hire.
