Surgical Registered Nurse - Level I Trauma Experience Required

Position available in a facility located in Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

• Call Requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix (30-minute response required)
• Weekends: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (weekends can be days, evenings, or nights)
• Holidays: As needed; may be day, evening, or night shift

Job Description

A Surgical Registered Nurse is needed to join a dynamic team. The position involves pre-screening candidates to determine clinical fit and requires a candidate who is capable of functioning independently in various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in various surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma.
• Function independently with proficiency in the Davinci xi robot and familiarity with the DV5 Davinci robot is preferred.
• Care for COVID-19 patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of experience, with Level I Trauma experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Nursing license must be valid without any hits.
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system.
• Certifications: AHA or ARC only.
• Must have NBSTSA for OR Tech/CST policy compliance.
