Night shift, 19:00 - 07:00. Required to be on call every third weekend.

Job Description

The Maternal Infant Unit is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse with significant experience to join our team. This position focuses on providing high-quality care for laboring mothers and newborns, with an emphasis on safety and patient satisfaction. The team consists of labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, and more, collaborating to ensure a smooth delivery process and excellent post-partum care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for laboring patients.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Care for antepartum patients and monitor newborns.
• Coordinate with nursery nurses, OB techs, and other staff to provide comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of labor experience is required.
• Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification.
