This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day with staggering start times, as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM. No weekend or holiday work is required.

Job Description

As a Pediatric Echo Tech, you will perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients, with a focus on complex congenital heart defects. This role requires proficiency in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and comprehensive knowledge of complex heart diseases and defects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiograms for pediatric patients.
• Utilize GE vivid 95 equipment and PACS systems to enter full reports.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide in-depth analysis of complex congenital heart defects.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Echo Tech.
• Must be a Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with the PE certification or CCI with the RCCS certification.
• Proficiency in GE equipment and PACS reporting preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Pending state licensure accepted, with proof of application needed.
