Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with required weekend shifts and possible holiday shifts.

Job Description

As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will provide intensive and intermediate care to pediatric patients aged 0-18 with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses. You will work in a mixed unit with varying patient ratios and a team-oriented approach to care, supported by specialized pediatric therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the PICU.
• Manage a range of procedures and therapies including ECMO and CRRT.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience required.
• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license is necessary.
• Certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association accepted).
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.
