Job Description

The Trauma and Robotics Surgical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on trauma and robotic surgeries. The candidate must be proficient in operating the Davinci xi robot and possess strong skills in thoracic and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during a variety of surgical procedures, particularly in trauma and robotic surgeries.
• Ensure proficient use of the Davinci xi robot for general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urologic specialties.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and health protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Level I Trauma experience required.
• Experience with robotic surgery is a must, including proficiency with the Davinci xi and DV5 robots.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• AHA or ARC certifications only.
• Must be willing to care for COVID patients and adhere to a fragrance-free and tobacco-free environment.
