Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Additional weekend shifts expected, with call requirements of 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have trauma and robotics experience, with a strong preference for expertise in thoracic and vascular specialties. Candidates must be able to function independently across multiple surgical specialties and demonstrate proficiency with the Davinci xi and DV5 robotic systems.

Responsibilities

• Function independently in all surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma.
• Perform pre-surgery and post-surgery care effectively with attention to COVID-19 protocols.
• Participate in a collaborative care environment demonstrating excellent patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of Level I Trauma experience is required.
• Robotics certification is mandatory, with preference for the Da Vinci Xi and DV5 systems.
• Previous travel nurse experience is required.
• AHA or ARC certifications only will be accepted.
