Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Neuroscience to join our team. The position involves caring for patients with a range of neurological conditions, including strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and brain cancer. The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork skills and neuro experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a neuro progressive unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting in the EHR (Cerner)
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and participate in patient rounds
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and care plans

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN with at least 2 years of experience in a neuro unit
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
• NIHSS certification preferred
