Job Description

The MedSurg Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. The role requires prior experience with a focus on conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, CHF, CVA, and cancer. The ability to work in various unit settings of the facility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Utilize Cerner EHR for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and provide support to families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience with Cerner EHR is required.
• Prior experience in MedSurg nursing is preferred.
