Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience, including at least one travel assignment completed. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, which includes assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and insert NG tubes.
• Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.
• Provide care to patients in a 1:6 patient ratio.
• Document patient assessments and updates in electronic health records (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current certifications: NIH, ACLS, BLS.
• Experience in a high turnover environment preferred.
