Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated nursing professional to join our team on the 12 Tower unit. The unit features a dynamic environment with 36 beds and a patient ratio of 1:4 / 1:5. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing basic patient assessments and care, along with familiarity in handling various medical equipment including PD Cyclers, Hoyer lifts, and IV pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and general care.
• Manage wounds, tracheostomy, ostomies, drains, and chest tubes.
• Provide care for patients with strokes and seizures.
• Administer dialysis and PCA pumps as needed.
• Assist in post-operative procedures including amputations and oral surgeries.
• Ensure adherence to safety checks and bedside shift reports.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with fall prevention and HAI monitoring procedures.

Dress Code

Scrubs in Navy, Blue, White, Black, Gray, or Ceil Blue.
