Medical-Surgical RN - Night Shift

12-hour night shifts, with a schedule of 3 nights per week, including every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical RN will be responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced, acute care environment. The RN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage a diverse patient population, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering necessary medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in unit activities and assist in the training of new nursing staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg experience preferred.
