19:00 - 07:00, with every-other weekend rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health is responsible for providing quality care to adult patients with mental health illnesses. The RN will work within a multidisciplinary team to promote a supportive environment for patients dealing with various challenges, including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and dual diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
• Monitor patient behavior and emotional well-being, making necessary adjustments to care as needed.
• Assist in administering medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required within specified timeframes after start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient behavioral health experience.
