This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM. No weekends or on-call duties.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients, conducting diagnostic studies as per physician orders. Responsibilities include receiving and recording radiopharmaceuticals, performing quality control tests, and processing data to enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and instrumentation calibration.
• Process images for review by radiologists or cardiologists.
• Perform nuclear medicine and treadmill stress tests under the direction of a cardiologist.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas after each patient.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Nuclear Med Tech in a hospital setting.
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT Registration required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Familiarity with GEHC NM Infinia and NEMIS / Xeleris 5.0 equipment is essential.
• Experience performing Stress Echo and treadmill tests.
