ICU Nurse - 13-Week Contract Position

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description

Join our dynamic ICU team, where you will provide exceptional patient care in a 16-bed unit with a staffing level of 46. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU nursing and be prepared to handle a variety of critical care scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in a fast-paced environment, managing patients with acute conditions.
• Utilize standard ICU equipment effectively and ensure compliance with unit policies.
• Engage in procedures including central line and A-line placement, intubation, and EVD placement.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring accountability and a caring approach to patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ICU experience; candidates lacking this will not be considered.
• Preferred experience in Meditech, Oncology, and Neuro settings.
• ACLS certification is required.
