Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:00) with every other weekend required. Flexibility for day and night shifts is essential due to staffing gaps.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse to join our inpatient unit. You will play a critical role in providing care for patients at the end of life. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to both patients and their families during this challenging time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to hospice patients.
• Administer medications and manage large volumes of narcotics.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and charting accurately using the Community charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with a valid Maryland or Compact license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with a background in hospice preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with charting and familiarity with the Community charting system is required.
