Job Description

Join our dedicated team at a teaching hospital located in the vibrant Tri-Cities area. This role is focused on labor and delivery, working in a unit with 6 labor rooms and 11 mother/baby rooms, providing a supportive environment for nursing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor vital signs and fetal heart rate, ensuring patient safety during delivery.
• Assist with triage of patients in the maternity unit as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current State License as a Registered Nurse.
• Two or more years of recent acute care experience.
• Required certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Experience in mother/baby care and labor/delivery is preferred.
